Clinical ADHD and Autism Assessment Services and Treatment Packages

Adult (18+) ADHD Assessment and Diagnostic Report

Our adult ADHD assessment provides a structured, evidence-based clinical evaluation in line with NICE guidelines (NG87). The process explores symptoms, medical history, and the impact of ADHD across daily life, relationships, and work. You will receive a written diagnostic report summarising our findings and outlining treatment recommendations. Where ADHD is confirmed, we will discuss appropriate treatment options, including medication. If suitable, a prescribing plan can be offered as part of our 12-month treatment package. A summary letter for your GP is also provided.

Child (6+) ADHD Assessment and Diagnostic Report

Our child ADHD assessment offers a structured clinical evaluation based on NICE guidelines (NG87) for children aged 6 and over. The process includes a detailed review of developmental history, behavioural patterns, and educational impact, with input from parents or carers. A formal diagnostic report is provided, along with clear treatment recommendations. Where ADHD is diagnosed, we will discuss medication options and, if appropriate, offer a prescribing plan as part of our 12-month treatment package. A letter for your child’s GP is included.

We provide autism (ASD) assessments either as a follow-up to an ADHD diagnosis where autistic traits are identified, or as part of a combined ADHD and ASD assessment. All assessments follow recognised clinical standards and include a structured developmental history using the ADI-r and direct behavioural assessment using ADOS-2. The ADOS-2 assessment is carried out in person at our Bedford clinic, in line with best clinical practice. The final diagnostic report includes a clear summary of findings, clinical interpretation, and recommendations for onward support. A GP letter is also included.

Autism (ASD) Assessment and Diagnostic Report

Our ADHD medication service includes a structured titration phase and 12 months of prescribing, monitoring, and clinical oversight. For patients assessed and diagnosed at Neuro FX, medication can often be initiated on the same day, where clinically appropriate. We follow NICE guidelines and provide regular follow-ups to adjust dosage, monitor progress, and manage any side effects. All prescriptions are issued by a qualified prescriber and sent directly to you or your nominated pharmacy. We also offer a prescribing service for patients diagnosed at other clinics. This requires an initial onboarding and diagnostic review, charged at £250, to confirm that the original assessment meets clinical and regulatory standards. Once accepted, patients can access the full 12-month medication plan. A treatment summary is shared with your GP.
